This bed is a "University Loft Graduate Series" Bunk Bed Set ordered online from HomeFurniture2go.com. I found
their pricing to be the best on the web, no shipping charges, and delivery was right to the door of my parents house via a
contracted delivery company. They were wonderful to work with and had very personal service. They were able to
get a ladder from the company at half the cost of a local store that carries this item in their showroom (Furniture Row's
Bedroom Expressions). The ladder isn't listed on their online catalog but you can contact them for any additional items
you would like to add. The quote was fast and they followed up with me throughout the order and into delivery to keep
me informed. This set also comes in a natural finish, the above finish is cherry.
This set is a hardwood and assembles very easily with a rubber mallet. It can be adjusted for height. My
dad flipped the ends over to enclose the head and foot portion of the bed then made gates for the front. The back is
against the wall. This is a very sturdy bed. It takes a twin or twin xl mattress. I would recommend the
twin xl so there are no gaps in the ends between the mattress and frame. Also the manufacturer recommends a mattress
no thicker than 8 inches.
